DigitKard began as a rural matrimony service. In September 2026 its role changed: matchmaking stayed, but it stopped being the point. डिजिटकार्ड की शुरुआत ग्रामीण विवाह सेवा के रूप में हुई थी। सितंबर 2026 में इसकी भूमिका बदल गई: रिश्ते कराना चलता रहा, लेकिन वह मक़सद नहीं रहा।
Why
Future 2100 is a thesis about redesigning systems. A thesis is cheap. What is expensive — and what almost nobody has — is a live connection to the ground those systems are supposed to serve, running long enough to be surprised by it. फ़्यूचर 2100 व्यवस्थाओं को नए सिरे से डिज़ाइन करने का एक सिद्धांत है। सिद्धांत सस्ता होता है। महँगा वह है — और लगभग किसी के पास नहीं है — जो उस ज़मीन से सीधा जुड़ाव दे जिसके लिए ये व्यवस्थाएँ बनी हैं, और इतने लंबे समय तक चले कि ज़मीन चौंका सके।
Matchmaking turned out to be an unusually good instrument for this. It touches caste, money, land, education, migration, family authority and trust — all in one conversation, all of it volunteered, because the family wants something in return. No survey gets that. रिश्ता कराना इसके लिए असामान्य रूप से अच्छा यंत्र निकला। यह जाति, पैसा, ज़मीन, शिक्षा, पलायन, परिवार का अधिकार और भरोसा — सब एक ही बातचीत में छू लेता है, और यह सब परिवार ख़ुद बताता है, क्योंकि उसे बदले में कुछ चाहिए। कोई सर्वे यह नहीं कर पाता।
The service is not a pretext. If the matchmaking stops being genuinely useful to the families using it, the instrument stops working too — they simply leave, and the record goes quiet. Doing the real job well is a precondition of the research, not a cover for it. यह सेवा कोई बहाना नहीं है। अगर रिश्ता कराना उन परिवारों के लिए सचमुच काम का नहीं रहा, तो यंत्र भी काम करना बंद कर देगा — वे चले जाएँगे और रिकॉर्ड ख़ामोश हो जाएगा। असली काम अच्छे से करना शोध की शर्त है, उसका पर्दा नहीं।
What this costs us
Families and Aguwas are told that their use of the service is recorded and studied. It is written in the language they are using the site in. परिवारों और अगुआओं को बताया जाता है कि वे जो इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं वह दर्ज और अध्ययन किया जाता है। यह उसी भाषा में लिखा होता है जिसमें वे साइट चला रहे हैं।
Names, numbers, photographs and a person's own words never leave this system. What travels upward is a reason code and a ward. नाम, नंबर, तस्वीरें और किसी के अपने शब्द इस व्यवस्था से बाहर नहीं जाते। ऊपर जाता है सिर्फ़ कारण-कोड और वार्ड।
Append-only and "delete on request" pull against each other. We have not resolved it, and we are not going to pretend we have. "कभी न मिटाना" और "कहने पर मिटा देना" — ये दोनों आपस में टकराते हैं। हमने इसे सुलझाया नहीं है, और सुलझा लेने का दिखावा भी नहीं करेंगे।
Engineering note
The rebuild is a scrubbed copy that has never been connected to production and must not be. The deploy link, the live payment key, the production endpoints and the storage keys that could silently repoint a page at the real system were all severed on purpose, and an audit script fails the build if any of them come back. यह पुनर्निर्माण एक साफ़ की हुई नक़ल है जो कभी उत्पादन से जुड़ी नहीं और जुड़नी भी नहीं चाहिए। तैनाती की कड़ी, लाइव भुगतान की चाबी, उत्पादन के पते, और वे संग्रह-चाबियाँ जो किसी पन्ने को चुपचाप असली व्यवस्था की ओर मोड़ सकती थीं — सब जान-बूझकर काटी गई हैं, और एक जाँच स्क्रिप्ट इनमें से कोई भी लौटने पर निर्माण को फ़ेल कर देती है।
The Aguwa onboarding flow is deliberately untouched. Registration, payment, login, password reset and the dashboard work exactly as they do today, in Hindi, on the same six stages. The department was built around that flow, not over it — because the flow is the instrument, and rewriting the instrument would have thrown away the only baseline worth comparing against. अगुआ की पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया जान-बूझकर नहीं छुई गई है। पंजीकरण, भुगतान, लॉगिन, पासवर्ड बदलना और डैशबोर्ड ठीक वैसे ही चलते हैं जैसे आज चलते हैं — हिंदी में, उन्हीं छह चरणों पर। विभाग उस प्रक्रिया के चारों ओर बनाया गया है, उसके ऊपर नहीं — क्योंकि वही प्रक्रिया यंत्र है, और यंत्र को दोबारा लिखने से वह इकलौता आधार ही चला जाता जिससे तुलना की जानी है।
On naming
This site says DigitKard reports to Future 2100 and feeds FutureLab. It does not name a holding company, because that decision has not been made and announcing one early would be the easiest kind of thing to have to walk back. यह साइट कहती है कि डिजिटकार्ड फ़्यूचर 2100 के अधीन है और फ़्यूचरलैब को आँकड़े देता है। यह किसी मूल कंपनी का नाम नहीं लेती, क्योंकि वह फ़ैसला अभी हुआ नहीं है — और जल्दबाज़ी में घोषित नाम वापस लेना सबसे आसान ग़लती होती।
The absence is intentional. When the structure is settled, this is the paragraph that changes. यह ख़ालीपन जान-बूझकर है। जब ढाँचा तय हो जाएगा, तब यही पैराग्राफ़ बदलेगा।
