FutureLab is Future 2100's design lab. It reads what DigitKard records in the field and designs new services from it. A pattern in the record becomes the design for a new service. At this point it is still only a guess to be tested. रिकॉर्ड में दिखा पैटर्न नई सेवा का डिज़ाइन बनता है। इस समय वह अब भी सिर्फ़ एक अनुमान है, जिसे परखना है।

Returnवापसी
The new service goes back to the same villages, and is measured again in the same way. नई सेवा उन्हीं गाँवों में वापस जाती है, और उसी तरह फिर से नापी जाती है।
Step four is what makes this research. A design that never goes back to the ground it came from is only an opinion, however good its charts look. This boundary cannot be switched off. The most sensitive thing in the whole system is the reason a named person was refused. The reason, as a code, can travel up. The person it belongs to never does. यह सीमा बंद नहीं की जा सकती। पूरी व्यवस्था में सबसे संवेदनशील चीज़ है — किसी नामज़द व्यक्ति को मना किए जाने का कारण। वह कारण, कोड बनकर, ऊपर जा सकता है। जिस व्यक्ति का वह कारण है, वह कभी नहीं जाता।

FutureLab never sends instructions to the field. The stop condition is agreed before the service goes out.
